Cherry Blossoms
Verse 1
You and I are cherry blossoms,
Blooming bright in same brigade.
Side by side in silver armor,
Destined for same glorious fade.
Verse 2
You and I are cherry blossoms,
Though not brothers born of blood,
Our hearts are bound by fire,
No force could break us apart.
Verse 3
You and I are cherry blossoms,
In same wing, we fly so high.
Staring into endless darkness,
Waiting for the signal in the sky.
Verse 4
We shall fall like cherry blossoms,
Scattered on the winds of war.
For the Emperor and Goddess,
For New Order evermore.
Verse 5
You and I are cherry blossoms,
We made solemn vows as one.
If I fall first in the battle,
Do not grieve — our time is done.
Verse 6
Though we die at different moments,
In different skies, on different days,
We shall meet again in the Goddess’ Heavens,
Beneath eternal cherry sprays.
Verse 7
We are cherry blossoms falling,
Pure and brief, yet shining bright.
In this life we serve with honor,
In the next — we reunite.
Outro
When spring returns to fields of glory,
On some distant cherry bough,
We shall meet once more, my brother,
Conforming our sacred vow.
